TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1501 and 1507 R&D Support Programs: 2026 Second Call Applications Now Open
The 2026 second call applications for the TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1501 Industrial R&D Support Program and the 1507 SME R&D Start-up Support Program are now open. These programs, launched twice each year—in January and July—aim to strengthen Türkiye's R&D capacity by supporting manufacturing, technology development, and innovation-driven projects.

1501 Industrial R&D Support Program
The 1501 Industrial R&D Support Program is designed to enhance the R&D and innovation capabilities of businesses, support sustainable growth, and improve their competitiveness in both national and international markets.
1507 SME R&D Start-up Support Program
The 1507 SME R&D Start-up Support Program is specifically designed to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to initiate R&D and innovation activities while strengthening their product development capabilities.

Key Updates in the 2026/2 Calls
The second call period of 2026 introduces several important changes.
Tiered Support Rates
Under the 1501 Program:

For an organization's first five TÜBİTAK-supported projects, the support rate will be 75%, with a maximum TÜBİTAK contribution of TRY 20 million per project.

For the sixth and subsequent projects, the support rate will be 60%, with the same maximum contribution of TRY 20 million.
Greater Emphasis on Commercialization Performance
Under the updated evaluation criteria, greater importance will be given to the commercialization performance of previously supported projects. The revised scoring system enables organizations with successfully commercialized projects to gain an advantage during the evaluation process.
Who Can Apply?
1501 Program
Industrial organizations carrying out R&D and innovation projects are eligible to apply.
1507 Program
Applications are open to organizations that:

Qualify as SMEs, and

Operate as incorporated companies.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted electronically through the TÜBİTAK PRODİS system. Organizations are required to complete the organization-level pre-registration before submitting their project applications.
