IATF 16949 - Automotive Quality Management System
IATF 16949 is built on the foundation of ISO 9001 and is the most critical quality standard sought by global OEMs such as Ford, GM, Stellantis, BMW, and Volkswagen within the automotive supply chain. Due to its deep integration with global supply chains, Turkey’s automotive sector has effectively made IATF 16949 mandatory. This certification is a strategic document that opens doors for exports, secures OEM approval, and facilitates customer audits.
A&A Consulting supports automotive suppliers in both initial certification and periodic renewal audits through its in-depth expertise in APQP and PPAP processes. An APQP framework is established to cover all stages of the new product development process, from design to mass production. The eighteen PPAP elements required for customer approval are prepared in full. Design and process FMEA studies are conducted using the current AIAG-VDA methodology. MSA studies are performed to validate measurement equipment and operator consistency. Control charts and process capability (Cpk) analyses are created for critical characteristics.
